Vaccine Manufacturing

August 16-17, 2021

The vaccine industry has made extrodinary progress in recent months in the fight against COVID-19. Now begins the herculean effort of manufacturing and supplying billions of doses of vaccines for a global patient population. How will this be achieved, what has the bioprocessing industry already learnt from the COVID-19 pandemic, and can we apply these technical learnings towards the next pandemic?

Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s Vaccine Manufacturing conference tackles the practical challenges facing the production and manufacture of vaccines, primarily COVID-19. Topics include manufacturing at global scale, CMC under accelerated timelines, utilizing new technologies, ensuring product quality, formulation and delivery, and managing complex supply chains. Examples will come from novel and traditional vaccine manufacturing platforms on the market and in deveolopment.

Coverage will include, but is not limited to:

  • Production strategies for COVID-19 vaccines – on the market and in development
  • Manufacturing mRNA vaccines – unique opportuntiies, challenges
