Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s 4th Annual
Smart Biomanufacturing & Digitalization
Leveraging Digitalization to Empower Smarter Bioprocessing
August 16-17, 2023
Pharmaceutical companies today are increasingly harnessing the power of digitalization to drive scientific and operational excellence across the value chain, from R&D to manufacturing. Digitalization is a key enabler to smarter bioprocessing and to help gain competitive advantages. Digital capabilities empower data-driven insights and decision-making, and are already impacting how biologics are discovered, designed, developed, manufactured and delivered to patients in need. This conference offers a thought-provoking knowledge exchange forum on digital transformation that is happening in the bioprocessing industry.
Coverage will include, but is not limited to:
- Digital Strategy Development and Operationalism
- A purpose-built digital strategy is a pre-requisite for any successful digital transformation to drive scientific and operational excellence
- Development and operationalization of digital/data vision, strategy, roadmap and business processes, as well as resourcing and workforce training
- Industry 4.0 IT/OT Infrastructure and Architecture
- Streamlining data architecture to enable scalability, security, more efficient system integration and data flow
- Digital architecture design and implementation of IIoT, process/lab automation/control systems, robotics, network, AR/VR, digital platforms, applications and tools
- Data Management and Engineering
- Data as an aset to unlock its potential for an organization and achieve desired business outcomes
- Data acquisition, storage, governance, access, integration, pipeline for analytics consumptions, and knowledge management
- Data Science and Digital Twin
- Data science tools for bioprocess design, development, scale up/down, continuous process verification and manufacturing process improvement
- Advanced analytics, both data-driven and mechanistic/hybrid modeling, computational modeling, AI, ML, chemometrics/multivariate analysis, and digital twin
- PAT (Process Analytical Technology) and APC (Advanced Process Control)
- PAT and APC are key technologies behind real-time analytics and control solutions, and represent elements of overarching control strategy, and key enablers for QbD and digital transformation
- Mechanistic modeling of transport of large molecules
- Development and implementation of PAT and APC in development and manufacturing environments
The deadline for priority consideration is February 3, 2023.
All proposals are subject to review by session chairpersons and/or the Scientific Advisory Committee to ensure the overall quality of the conference program. Additionally, as per Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s policy, a select number of vendors and consultants who provide products and services will be offered opportunities for podium presentation slots based on a variety of Corporate Sponsorships.
